(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kimberley Walsh says her apartment looks like Santas grotto.

The 29-year-old British star shot to fame in pop group Girls Aloud, alongside Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle.

Kimberley loves the festive season, so has been adorning her home with decorations to get her in the holiday mood. The talented star prefers sticking to customary Christmas colours, rather than attempting anything too modern.

Christmas is just around the corner and Im so excited! My flat looks like Santas grotto as Ive put up all the decorations, she wrote in the British edition of OK! magazine.

I go for traditional colours of red, green and gold and I decorate everywhere. I think it looks a bit try-hard when people match their decorations to their colour scheme thats not what Christmas is about!

The gorgeous stars sisters helped her with the decorating as her boyfriend Justin Scott was away working. Kimberley thinks its probably for the best Justin wasnt present as he isnt a fan of the festive carols she likes to play to get in the yuletide spirit.

Justin was probably glad he wasnt there, he always tries to change the music after the third repeat of Silent Night! she laughed. (C) Cover Media
