Ever since filmmaker
Anurag Basu and
Ranbir Kapoor hit it off with
'Barfi' there has been news over a biopic the director intends to make with the superstar.
The talked about biopic is based on the true life incidents of Indian legendary singer and actor
Kishore Kumar.
The film has been in news for two years now, but it will still take time to see the light of the day.
We hear that Anurag needs 6 months for the film and during this duration Ranbir cannot work on any other film.
This, we hear is the prime reason for the film being postponed several times.
Ranbir will have to gain/lose weight and don various looks to show the singer's transformation in different phases of his life. But as Ranbir has a full plate and is involved in multiple projects at this time, he isn't getting the time and space to allot dates for the biopic.
However, Ranbir is keen on doing this film and hence is working hard to make a 6-month slot just for the biopic.
Currently, he is busy shooting for
'Bombay Velvet' in Sri Lanka post which he will begin shooting for
'Roy'.
