KJo nervous about playing villian in 'Bombay Velvet'

22nd July 2013
He is known to teach some of the biggest stars how to enact a scene, however, now that it is Karan Johar's turn to face the camera he is getting all nervous about it.

Karan made his onscreen debut almost two decades ago alongside Shah Rukh Khan in 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge', and since then he has been doing a lot of special appearances in his movies.

However, it is the first time that Karan will be seen doing a full-fledged role, and that too a negative one.

KJo is set to show his negative side as he is going to play the villain in Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet'.

Karan who was coaxed to this role by Anurag, will have major scenes opposite Ranbir Kapoor who plays the lead in the film.

KJo has been training for a while and has already knocked off 15 pounds and built some muscles in order to look lean on screen.

When asked if he is getting ready for some 'dishoom dishoom' action, he laughed it off by saying, "Anurag has done his casting pretty intellectually"

Anurag is already in Sri Lanka getting things ready for the first schedule which starts on Wednesday.

Karan who is known for putting people on spot is all edgy about this one, finally 'Karan ko Kuch-Kuch Hota Hai'
