December 17, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Well known South Indian director Kodi Ramakrishna has teamed up with veteran Telugu actor Balakrishna for his forthcoming Tollywood film, claim media reports. According to the reports circulating in the media, the filmmaker arranged for a press meet in the recent past in the city of Hyderabad to announce to the media that he had roped in the senior Tollywood actor Nathasimham Balakrishna in his next onscreen venture.
This is not the first time that the director actor duo have come together for a big screen venture in Tollywood. Ramakrishna and Balakrishna have been associated in producing some of the most popular films in Telugu namely, Muddula Krishnaiah, Muvva Gopaludu, Mangamma Gari Manavadu, Muddula Menalludu and Muddula Mavaiah. Therefore quite naturally the audience and the critics of Telugu cinema are eagerly awaiting the release of the yet to be titled upcoming venture.
Filming work for the film has not started yet. In the press meet arranged by Ramakrishna, the director said that he will begin shooting with Balakrishna once the actor completes work on his films Parama Veera Chakra and Rama Rajyam. Therefore it can safely be said that the film will not go on floors till the end of January next year.
While his film with actor Balakrishna is the most awaited film from Ramakrishna in 2011, the ace director is also planning to start work on a childrens film for which he has also rounded up on the title of Uncle Anjaneya Swami. Tollywood has seen a number of good films this year and it looks like that the next year too will be good for the industry.
