December 17, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Sandra Bullock will do anything to return to her son from the space station while the experienced George Clooney already worked in a space station in Solaris (2002) will also take the charge of helping her. While Warner Brothers were on the verge of shelving the project 'Gravity', it was Clooney who came to the rescue as over the years the production house has stood by the actor since his E.R. days.
This film 'Gravity' was initially bagged by Robert Downey Jr. but in spite of being associated with the film for a year had to give up due to the clash of dates. Alfonso Caurons sci-fi 3-D flick 'Gravity' also had some really big names as the female leads like Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson, Marion Coltillard and Natalie Portman, but ultimately it came to Sandra Bullock.
Though the film will see Bullock and Clooney team up in the outer space, where the 49-year-old Oscar winners role will be of a supporting one and limited to the first act while the film will center around Sandra. Clooney will portray the role of another survivor apart from Bullock who works in a space station in which George is the commander. The space station gets crippled by an asteroid and after that it is the struggle of these survivors to return back to the 'Gravity'.
