Koffee With Karan 3: Amitabh Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda Deadly Combo

27th December 2010

December 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): 'Koffee with Karan 3' was at its best this Sunday as the megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his very elegant daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda were invited on the couch to share a few of their personal thoughts in real life.

The show began with Big B coming in first and making the conversation absolutely amazing with certain insights about his life which KJO thoroughly enjoyed delving into. As Shweta was invited the mood seemed to change a bit with her style and poise but soon there was a great bonding with the three enjoying the camaraderie to the hilt.

There was an interesting GK round where designer bags had to be won and this segment though filled with a lot of film based questions which Shweta was not very comfortable in, was ultimately won by her. Thus she got the classic bags as her prize.

Certain insights into the Bachchan household day to day functioning that was disclosed on the chat show were quite interesting. The fact that every morning every member of the family has to put a tick mark next to their initials on the slip attached to each news daily was the most intriguing of the entire facts disclosed on the show.

Well, with such disciplined day to day activities at home one can imagine how this great Bachchan family must be functioning at every level. So much co ordination! Wow!

Shweta was quite defensive about herself when it came to her bro Abhishek. She admitted that she would like him to listen to her a bit more, at which Big B asked her that doesnt he already listen to her? Shweta was quick to put in that not as much as she would have liked him to.

Well, the icing on the cake was when Big B said that he would love to etch the names of his grandchildren (Shweta's kids) near his heart, which was really so touching. Jayaji was missed a lot but on the whole the father daughter duo was simply great on the show. What a deadly combo the two were on the show. It certainly called for a hot cuppa!

Thank You KJO for the audio visual treat!
