(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kourtney Kardashian may soon be wearing an engagement ring, according to reports.

Her boyfriend Scott Disick is said to have recently bought the diamond jewellery for his future bride and is excited to propose.

Life & Style magazine claims that Scott went with a friend to buy the ring at Classics Jewelry in New York City's Diamond District in early September.

"He chose a 1.5-carat princess-cut diamond ring," the insider told the publication.

The couple are parents to son Mason who is nearly two-years-old and have had a rollercoaster of a time during their four-year relationship.

But Scott has turned his life around in recent months and is said to have gotten his drinking under control, is going to therapy sessions and is being a good father to their toddler.

The 28-year-old has thought about proposing before but was spurned by his girlfriend on the season finale of Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

"If things are so good now why would we want to change that?" she asked him.

But sources claim that Kourtney, 32, is now ready to say yes, joining younger sisters Khlo and Kim in wedded bliss.

"Right now they're so in love and so happy with each other and their family that there's no reason for them not to get married," a friend of Kourtney's told the magazine. "She has also really come around to the idea of marriage."

Although the Kardashians were initially distrusting of Scott and didn't like him being around, they have seen his progress and would be delighted if they made their relationship official.

"The family sees what he's like in private with Kourtney, and he's just so doting and caring," the source continued. "They're a total partnership; they're in love and have each other's backs." (C) Cover Media
