(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kourtney Kardashian wasn't prepared for how much she would love her newborn daughter.

The reality TV star gave birth to Penelope Scotland Disick on July 8 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. This is Kourtney's second child with long-term partner Scott Disick and the couple also have son Mason, who will be three in December.

The 33-year-old has introduced Penelope to the world on the cover of the latest edition of Us Weekly. In the shot, Kourtney proudly cradles a sleeping Penelope, while a smiling Mason cuddles to up his mom.

The mother-of-two insists she had no idea how strong her maternal instincts would be when she gave birth to Penelope.

"Nothing could prepare me for how hard I fell in love with her," Kourtney gushed in an interview to accompany the photoshoot.

The brunette star also discusses Penelope's delivery and her family's involvement during the birth, and how Mason is enjoying being a big brother. Kourtney goes on to reveal that although Scott is thrilled with the new addition to their family, he is yet to change the baby's diaper. (C) Cover Media
