Veteran Tollywood actor Krishna, who underwent spinal surgery on Saturday, at a corporate hospital in Somajiguda, is recuperating; say sources close to his family. The 70-year-old actor was admitted to the hospital a few days ago. He reportedly underwent a surgery few years ago for the same problem. It is learnt the actor was operated by Dr. Sanjay Mathur at Yashoda Hospital.
 
Sources at the hospital said that the surgery was successful and that the superstar was responding positively to the treatment. The doctors, on Monday, shifted the actor to a private room after keeping him under observation in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital for two days. All family members are with him in the hospital, extending support and the necessary services, it is learnt.
