Renowned screen writer Salim Khan underwent hernia operation at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on October 6, 2015.

A close source asserting the news said that there is nothing to worry as he is fit and fine. He might be discharged from the hospital in next 2–3 days.

Salim Khan had complained of some pain and thus, was taken to the hospital for an essential treatment.

Apart from Salman Khan his sons Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan and daughters Alvira Agnihotri and Arpita Khan were with him.
