Kristen Stewart finds speculation about her private life "seductive".

The Twilight actress can't help caring what people say about her. While her public image is something she thinks about, the 22-year-old is not obsessed with maintaining a veneer to please others.

"Of course it's seductive and important, what people think about you, but you can't pay attention," Kristen told British magazine Vogue. "They can say what they want..."

Kristen hit headlines recently due to her affair with married director Rupert Sanders, which caused the apparent end of her relationship with Robert Pattinson. She is always amazed when she reads things about herself, as more often than not the reports are absurd.

"Hey, they're all f**king nuts. It changes every day," Kristen continued in the interview which was conducted before her affair scandal. "This whole, am I fashionable, am I not? Am I going out with my boyfriend, am I not? There's never one constant."

Kristen is the cover star for the magazine's October edition. She was photographed by Mario Testino and styled by the magazine's fashion director Lucinda Chambers.

The fashion expert was full of praise for the focused star.

"Before every shot she would put her head down and really shout and growl, as if to psyche herself up - she said that she and Charlize Theron would do that together for the Snow White and the Huntsman film - really scream at each other, to gear themselves up for each scene. That's just how she does it," she told Vogue.co.uk.

"Generally I thought she came across as much older than her years really - she has this veneer of not giving a sh*t but there is a real person in there. She gives the impression of being really tough on the outside but in fact she's really soft and sweet. I loved her."

Kristen's soft centre has been further exposed by a report that she is obsessed with cuddly toys. She reportedly can't sleep without the teddies that Robert gave her. The actress has apparently even taken her favourites to the Toronto Film Festival.

"She is obsessed with them and has them scattered all over her bed; they're a sweet reminder of how he cared for her," a source revealed to RadarOnline. "But now, as they're no longer together, they've become more of a security blanket for Kristen, so she took a collection of her favourite teddy bears with her to Toronto."
