(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Robert Pattinson reportedly helped Kristen Stewart find her new home as he "didn't want her far away".

The Twilight stars have experienced romantic problems this year, after Kristen admitted being unfaithful with married film director Rupert Sanders.

They now appear to have settled their problems and have been spotted out together in public and kissing by the swimming pool of the actress' new home. She splashed out $2.2 million on the property, which is in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles.

Robert lives nearby and it's been claimed he was instrumental in Kristen settling on the mansion. She began searching for a new home after moving out of the property they shared when her infidelity was exposed.

"Torn between letting Kristen go and trying to make their relationship work again, Robert told her he didn't want her to be far away. But he was quick to also say, he didn't want them to live together while they were trying to sort out their differences," an insider told RadarOnline.com.

"Robert wants his own space and wants to take it very slowly to see if their relationship is repairable."

Kristen chose her new home in August. It is 3,045 square feet and boasts four en suite bedrooms, a large garden and swimming pool complete with a spa.

The 22-year-old actress hinted at her tumultuous private life during a live web chat yesterday. She was promoting Balenciaga's fragrance Florabotanica, which she is the face of, and answered fans' questions.

At the end of the segment one admirer asked her to say something in French.

"It's a goal of mine, but I'm so not there yet," Kristen replied. "I've been a little preoccupied." (C) Cover Media
