(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kristin Cavallari has strongly denied being involved in the breakup of her Dancing With The Stars partner Mark Ballas.

The professional dancer broke up with American Idol runner up Pia Toscano during the summer and there have been rumours that Kristin and Mark have grown close since then.

But the newly single reality star says there is absolutely no truth to the reports and she's upset at the insinuation.

"I think that is so unfair to drag me into that," the former star of The Hills opened up to Ryan Seacrest today. "Why should I be dragged into Mark's drama?"

The pair were reportedly seen going for romantic dinners at Hollywood hotspots like The Abbey and Marix Tex Mex Caf.

However, Kristin says that they are just friends and nothing more.

"He's like a brother to me and I would never go there," she said firmly.

She is also nursing her own broken heart after her engagement to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler ended in July.

Kristen admitted that she was still on great terms with her ex and even continued their Twitter relationship but did not elaborate on rumours that they may reconcile. (C) Cover Media
