(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kristin Davis thinks spending time with her adopted daughter is "invigorating".
The Sex and the City star welcomed home Gemma Rose last summer and has quickly bonded with her baby girl.
Kristin is elated with her new role as mother.
"Having a baby is invigorating," she told People magazine. "It's stressful, of course. But they're so in the moment and you have to get on the floor and play with them, and it's fantastic."
The 47-year-old admits that her exercise regimen has altered drastically since she's been running around the house after her eight-month-old.
"Ever since I adopted my daughter I really have done no exercise except hold herso my deltoids are doing well, buy my lower half not so much," she explained. "Everyone says, Why don't you just go to yoga?', but I don't want to leave her for that long."
Kristin has spoken previously about the deep relationship she is developing with Gemma Rose.
"When I first got her I would sleep with her on my chest, because when you adopt you're very concerned about bonding," she revealed to Anderson Cooper. (C) Cover Media
