Kriti banks on OM

Punjabi girl Kriti Kharbanda is planning to carve a niche for herself in Tollywood and Sandalwood. The actress, who was last seen in Mr Nookayya, is banking heavily on her upcoming Tollywood flick, OM.

'It will be a rocking entertainer from scene one. I am sure that it will click well with the audience,' Kriti said, adding: 'I have got a very good opportunity to showcase my acting skills to the world.'

Stating that she is in talks to sign two more Telugu movies, Kriti said she also has promising Kannada projects in hand. 'I play the female lead in the Kannada remake of Tamil hit Subramanyapuram,' she says.

Giving more details, she says, 'I am playing the role played by Swathi in Subramanyapuram. Titled Adda, the period film set in the backdrop of the 1980s has leading Sandalwood star Prem in the lead role.'
