Kumki to resume shoot from Oct 26

After the critically acclaimed 'Mynaa', Prabhu Solomon is busy with 'Kumki', through which he is launching Vikram Prabhu, the grandson of legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan. 'One schedule of the shooting is over, and after a break, the second schedule will start from October 26.' sources say.

As per our sources, 'The first schedule was shot in Kottakudi near Theni. The second will take place in Arakku Valley in Orissa. Since the script revolves around elephants, Prabhu Solomon has planned to shoot the whole movie in deep jungles.

Produced by director Lingusamy's Tirupathi Brothers banner, 'Kumki' is about wild elephants and a couple that loves them. 'Quite like Mynaa, this too will be a love story set in the backdrop of a forest. The director is giving his best to each and every scene,' they add.

Sources further say, UTV Motion Pictures, which has big plans for south Indian cinema, has bagged the release rights of 'Kumki' from Tirupathi Brothers. The corporate company has decided to market the movie in innovative methods which are kept as closely guarded secrets.
