(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kylie Minogue says shell be wearing the most clothes shes ever donned in public for a Thanksgiving Parade to ensure shes family friendly.

The Australian singer is due to take to a float for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday. She cant wait to drive through the crowds waving, and already has her outfit planned. Kylie is usually seen on stage in skimpy outfits, but has decided to cover up for the American holiday.

I've never been on a float! Let me tell you, I'm so excited, my voice has gone up an octave! There's something daggy about it - that's an Australian term that kind of means really uncool, but in an affectionate way. It's hilarious. I'm ready to go with the spirit, get that arm up and wave, wave, wave! she laughed. It will probably be the most clothes I've ever worn in a public kind of outing. Definitely warm, but hopefully somewhat glamorous, a whisper of a dress and some jewels.

Despite having huge success in her native country and in Europe, Kylie has never made it big stateside. Its something she yearns for, and she is hoping taking part in such an important American tradition will help boost her appeal.
