The singer who was famed for her flesh-baring shorts back in 2000 - donned hot pants for her return to live touring after vowing she would never wear them again.

The 42-year-old pop star danced in a denim version of the gold pair that made her rear a sensation back in 2000. Kylie took to the stage in Herning, Denmark, on Saturday night for the opening night of her spectacular Aphrodite-Les Folies world tour. The petite star looked as toned as when she wore the tiny cut-offs for her Spinning Around music promo, and has revealed she cant escape the look.

I couldnt even if I tried, because they are always put in the designs, she laughed when asked if she ever wants to ditch the hot pants. Im going to be celebrating my 43rd birthday on this tour, so Im sort of glad to still be wearing the hot pants! she said in an interview with Grazia magazine.

The pop singer admits that her boyfriend, Andrs Velencoso, knows that her flesh-baring outfits are for the stage only, and never takes it too seriously. The hunky Spanish model, 32, has been dating Kylie since July 2008 and understands when shes in work mode, and when she is relaxed.

He loves the dresses they are fun and sexy. Weve been together long enough now for him to know what Im like when Im working. Part of the time he has me as the relaxed girlfriend and then I go into manic work mode and its a whole new experience, she explained. (C) Cover Media
