(Cover) - EN Fashion - Lady Gaga’s male alter-ego has given an interview describing the star as “f**king beautiful, funny and interesting”.

The 24-year-old pop star dressed up as a shy Italian mechanic called Jo Calderone for a shoot for the September issue of Vogue Hommes Japan. Dressed in a variety of butch male clothing and wearing a short dark wig, Gaga appears on the cover of the publication, with several more images featured inside the magazine.

She also gave an interview as her alter-ego, in which she discussed herself in extremely flattering terms.

“I met Lady Gaga at a shoot Nick Knight was doing. She's f**king beautiful, and funny, and interesting,” Jo told the magazine. “I was a little nervous for Nick to start shooting. She said, ‘Don't be baby, you were born this way.’ I took her out after. The rest is private.”

The bizarre comments are likely to increase speculation about Gaga’s sex. Rumours she is a hermaphrodite have been circulating for months, and the singer has made fun of the speculation in several interviews as well as in the music video for her song Telephone. (C) Cover Media
