The eccentric superstar considers the tracks on her new album Born This Way to be cathartic, a sonic process of transformation. Gaga put everything she had into writing and recording the music and made sure every word was something to remember.

"I licked and touched and kissed and made love to every single note and melody and lyric on that album," Gaga tells US Weekly.

Riding high on the successful recent release of her new record, Gaga is proud of what she has achieved. She was closely involved with every stage of putting the album together and each track has a special meaning for her.

"There is not one song on any of my records that wasn't written by me," Gaga explained. "I think when you write your own music you find ways to reinvent [the songs] emotionally through yourself and performances that they are different every night."

Gaga is eager to share this ongoing process of transformation with her fans.

"Truthfully, the greatest accomplishment in my career thus far is that I truly have a genuine, authentic, and beautiful relationship with little monsters," she added. "That makes it all worth it." (C) Cover Media
