The 24-year-old pop star is famed for her extravagant concerts involving various special effects and numerous wacky outfit changes.

The songstress takes her performances very seriously, and is known for having a strong bond with fans, who she affectionately calls her Little Monsters. The star believes she has an intimate connection with her concertgoers which is not dissimilar to the personal nature of making love.

Sometimes, being onstage is like having sex with my fans. Theyre the only people on the planet who in an instant can make me just lose it, she gushed in an interview with the March edition of Vogue.

Gaga thinks the union she has with her followers is strong because they are all so similar. The songstress has spoken in the past of her struggle to fit in with her peers as a student, and is happy to have attracted eccentric fans who are enduring similar exclusion.

I see myself in them. I was this really bad, rebellious misfit of a person - I still am - sneaking out, going to clubs, drugs, alcohol, older men, younger men. You imagine it, I did it. I was just a bad kid, she recalled.
