(Cover) - EN Star Style - Lady Gaga feels more comfortable in her underwear.

The American singer is well known for leaving the house in just her bra and knickers, having been seen enjoying a meal in the unusual attire in the past.

The songstress, who is famed for her outlandish garb, doesn't understand what the fuss is about, explaining she's so comfortable with her body she doesn't mind showing it off.

"Let's say it this way: I often feel naked in clothes. But in underwear or light things I feel completely comfortable," she told the German edition of In Touch magazine.

Many thought Gaga had adopted her love of outrageous outfits following her rise to stardom. The 25-year-old has baulked at the speculation, insisting her headline-grabbing outfits are nothing new.

"When I lived in New York and didn't know anyone, I used to go to the pharmacy in just my underwear," she laughed.

Earlier this week, it was reported Gaga has been offered $500,000 to wear a dress made of bones to this year's MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs). It comes after she donned a frock made of meat for the event last year. (C) Cover Media
