Lindsay Lohan's representatives believe that claims she destroyed a trailer are absolutely "absurd".
While filming upcoming Lifetime movie Liz & Dick, the actress was set up in a vintage 1963 that Elizabeth Taylor herself used while shooting Cleopatra.
The trailer's owner Angel Alger told CNN earlier today that Lindsay caused damages in excess of $100,000.
Angel alleged that the star burned cigarette holes in things and that broken dishes were strewn about everywhere. She also says that pieces of priceless memorabilia, namely a European rocking chair and a vintage French telephone, went missing.
Lindsay's spokesperson is annoyed by what he considers to be spurious accusations.
"Lindsay had nothing to do with it. It's an absurd story," Steve told TMZ.
Lindsay has been feeling the heat this week, as the actress was banned from the famous Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood for not paying an outstanding bill.
She was also a suspect in yet another jewellery theft case, but prosecutors decided not to go to trial because there was not enough evidence to prove without a doubt that she stole over $100,000 worth of accessories from a Hollywood Hills home.
