Lindsay Lohan's post-probation soiree was "packed with people."
The 25-year-old actress attended her final probation hearing for her 2007 DUI case at Los Angeles Superior Court Wednesday.
Judge Stephanie Sautner was impressed with Lindsay's progress and revoked probation on the star's driving under the influence charge. She also demoted the star's shoplifting probation on her 2011 jewellery theft case from formal to informal.
Lindsay was rumoured to be celebrating her triumph by having a dinner with her little sister Ali, but the starlet decided to throw party at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles instead.
"It was a private suite -- the place was packed with people," an attendee told Life & Style magazine. "It was so crowded, you could barely see anything."
The function began at around 9pm, a few hours following Lindsay's court visit. The actress was advised by Judge Sautner to "stop the night-clubbing" during the hearing.
Lindsay partied, but remain composed throughout the night.
"She was talking to a group of friends," the source continued. "I didn't see her have anything to drink."
Lindsay was clearheaded enough to frequently alter her attire.
"She first had on this white dress, then changed into a black top and jeans," the source said. "But then she changed again into another dress. She came out like five times from the bedroom wearing something different each time."
Celebrity friends Nicky Hilton, Kimberly Stewart and Brandon Davis made an appearance at the bash.
As the night progressed, Lindsay was less inclined to host strangers.
"Around midnight, she started kicking people out that she didn't know," the insider shared.
Lindsay will remain on informal probation for the shoplifting for two more years.
