Liv Tyler has voiced her support of her father's recent engagement.
Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler, 63, asked girlfriend Erin Brady to marry him over the holidays and Liv says she couldn't be more pleased.
Speaking to People magazine at the Sundance Film Festival, Liv gave her thoughts on the impending nuptials.
"They've been together for a long, long time," Liv shared. "I like her very much."
There had been reports that Steven's family were "furious" about his engagement to the 38-year-old Clear Channel executive but Liv has now refuted those rumours.
Liv is promoting her new film Robot and Frank and revealed that she will be following in her father's footsteps and is forging a career in the music industry.
"I got to record a cover of INXS's I Need You Tonight for a Givenchy commercial," the 34-year-old model said of the song that is due out soon. "It was fun and terrifying and wonderful.
"I always thought when I was a little girl that I'd be a singer. My mom [Bebe Buell] was always in bands. My dad. And my stepfather, Todd Rundgren is an incredible musician."
