Celebrity beauty guru Mona Everett often works with Jessica to ensure she looks immaculate on the red carpet.

One of 22-year-old Jessicas favourite looks is sporting an ultra-feminine side plait and shimmering eyes, and Mona has revealed how fans of the Canadian actress-and-singer can recreate the look.

Start by blow-drying with a brush to create volume. Apply Bumble + Bumble Thickening Hairspray and Styling Lotion, before pulling hair to one side and braiding, Mona told more! magazine when asked how she achieved the stylish braid.

For a sexy effect, put Bumble + Bumble Styling Wax on your fingers and release some strands.

Mona also divulged the handiwork behind Jessicas sparkly eyes. The star often sports a smoky-eyed look, and it is one which isnt tricky to achieve.

For Jess eyes, use MAC Paint in Bare Canvas, as a primer, followed by a sparkly shade like MAC Eyeshadow in Honey Lust. Add a deeper colour such as MAC Eyeshadow in Blackberry, to the outer corner of the eye, blending out any lines, added Mona. (C) Cover Media
