The trailer of Madhur Bhandarkar's much awaited film 'Indu Sarkar' is finally out and is garnering appreciations just as the stills. The drama film which is set on the backdrop of an Emergency stars Kirti Kulhari and many others in the lead. Madhur shared the trailer on his Twitter handle and captioned it as, "Time to unveil the story of a woman who stands against the system for justice, here is #InduSarkarTrailer."
The trailer introduces us to the main leads of the film. Kirti Kulhari who has a speech impediment is a rebel poet who goes against her husband to be a political activist when former Prime Minister of India declared a state of Emergency across the nation. While Neil Nitin Mukesh appears to be the main villain as he portrays the role of Sanjay Gandhi in the film. Supriya Vinod is seen as Indira Gandhi and Anupam Kher plays a underground leader. It also shows the impact of the Emergency on the people in the period of 21 months.
The film will surely bring back the memories of the darkest era in the Indian history and promises to be a good entertainer. It is set for a release on July 28, 2017.
