Mahie Gill emulates Meena Kumari

Paying tribute to the cinema of the 60's and 70's, the song will see Mahie do a Meena Kumari twist reminiscent of her role in 1952's
'Baiju Bawra' for which the actress did extensive research .
"I'm a huge fan of Meena Kumari and it was a great honour for me to emulate her on screen. The opportunity was in no way less than perfect. I studied her in films like Baiju Bawra (1952) and Dil Ek Mandir," said the actress.
Says producer Ratan Jain, "Yes Mahie's look in the song is on the lines of the ethereal Meena Kumari – Mahie has an earthy charm and looked just the part. She went all out to get into character and floored us with her dedication".
