Maybe, Venkat Prabhu took some time to kick-start 'Mankatha', which happens to be Ajith Kumar's 50th movie. Initially, there were some issues pertaining to the film as Ajith Kumar didn't want to start the shooting unless Venkat Prabhu completes the scripts fully. Well that has been helping the entire team to complete the schedules on time. Having finished filming couple of schedules, the entire crew has now flown down to Mumbai where major portions of the movie involving the entire star-cast will be shot in the backdrops of Dharavi slum. The makers have decided to complete the project by March and post production work by mid of April. The film is likely to hit screens on May 1 on the occasion of Ajith Kumar's birthday.
