A cute little toothless girl to a stunning beauty, is how one can describe the transformation of actress Hansika Motwani, who will be celebrating her 20th birthday today, i.e. 9th August.

As a child artist, she started off with a television serial 'Shakalaka Boom Boom' and later 'Des Mein Nikala Hoga Chaand' for which she received the Favourite Child Award at the Star Parivaar Awards. She went on to act as one of the children in the movie 'Koi Mil Gaya'. Hansika's role in the 2004 crime drama 'Jaago' gave her a lot of recognition.

Hansika made her debut in a lead role in Puri Jagannadh's Telugu film, 'Desamuduru'', starring opposite Allu Arjun. In Kannada cinema she made her debut in 'Bindaas' with Puneet Rajkumar. Her Bollywood debut received a lot of attention through Himesh Reshammiya's 'Aap Ka Surroor'. Her Tamil debut was quite late, in 2011, with the movie 'Mappillai'.
