(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mariah Carey's month-old twins are already developing personalities, with her daughter displaying "diva" tendencies while her son is "chill".
The singer gave birth to Monroe and Moroccan on April 30 and even though the babies are only a few weeks old, they are already proving to be very different from each other. Mariah's husband Nick Cannon admits he was surprised to discover his children have started to show their individuality and has joked his daughter is going to be a "handful".
"They have personalities. And it's crazy because you can see like my son is definitely more like me. He's like chill, laid back," he explained in an interview with Perez Hilton. "Yeah. But my daughter is, that's her mother's child. Like she is like a diva. She sleeps like this with her hands. She's like, when she wants something, she's instantly crying letting you know likes she's going to be a little handful."
Nick who is a radio DJ and TV presenter - has taken easily to fatherhood and is enjoying spending time with the twins. In fact, he loves seeing them so much he is finding it difficult to leave them behind and go to work.
"Man, it's hard to leave the house honestly," he added. "I mean, as much as I love what I do and the hustle when I get home and I see those two little faces looking up at me that look like my face, it's like, it's unbelievable. It kind of gives you a whole new inspiration and whole new reason to kind of get out there and do it every day."
Nick, 30, and 41-year-old Mariah have been together since 2007 and many people were surprised when they first started dating. Despite their age difference, the pair are happier than ever and Nick has revealed he was destined to be with Mariah.
"I always knew I was going to be in love with Mariah Carey. She was my celebrity crush since I was a kid," he confessed. "So I was like when I get the opportunity, I'm going to just let her know how I feel and just go hard, just and I went hard and then from that point she connected. Six hours on the phone. Like who do you talk to for six hours? What do you talk about for six hours? That's like it was like that junior high love." (C) Cover Media
