(Cover) - EN Music - Matt Bellamy has been playing "twinkling" music to make his unborn baby kick.

The Muse rocker is expecting his first child with fiance Kate Hudson, with the tot due soon. Matt is keen to get the new arrival accustomed to his music as soon as possible so has already been playing the baby various tunes. There are particular instruments the child likes, and Matt plans to include them on his next record.

"I'm already getting the vibraphone out and the Wurlitzer - these nice sort of twinkling high nice sort of mellow sounds that makes the baby kick and stuff," he laughed.

"So I've got a feeling I'll incorporate those sounds into the next album a little bit."

Matt and Kate began dating last year after meeting at a music festival. They got engaged a few weeks ago, with Kate explaining the proposal was very romantic.

Matt has been open about how much he is looking forward to becoming a father in the past. He knows it's going to change the way he writes and has predicted his upcoming LP with be full of baby-friendly tracks.
