Matt Damon discusses Rounders sequel?

9th June 2011

(Cover) - EN Movies - Matt Damon was spotted meeting with Harvey Weinstein to discuss the script for Rounders 2, according to a source.

The 40-year-old American actor, who is best known for his roles in the Bourne series and the Ocean's trilogy, was seen with the film producer and screenwriters Brian Koppelman and David Levien at Cipriani Downtown in New York.

It is believed that the team were sitting down to discuss the anticipated sequel to the 1998 movie Rounders that Matt starred in alongside Edward Norton.

The Hollywood star first appeared in the film as law student dragged back into gambling by an ex-con pal. The movie failed to set the box office alight but became a hit when it was released on DVD.

Edward is also planning to reprise his role for the sequel, sources have revealed.

Matt's representative has been receiving constant calls about the movie and insists he doesn't have any confirmation on the continued speculation.

"He's travelling, and I can't reach him," he said. (C) Cover Media
