(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Matt Damon is jealous of Jake Gyllenhaal's "beautiful round" head.

The two men have both shaved their heads for movie roles. Matt needs to be bald for Elysium, while Jake sheared his locks for End of Watch.

Matt has been promoting his new film Contagion about a deadly virus this week. He admitted feeling fearful of how his head compares with Jake's.

"Wow, I try not to envy, but I have to say Jake's got a damn good-looking head. He sure does have a beautiful round head," he joked.

"Normally you say, 'That's a beautiful head of hair, but that's a beautiful head he's got.' Gyllenhaal definitely gets the blue ribbon for the best bald head over me."

While many would worry about shaving their hair off, Matt has embraced his new look. He loves how easy it is to care for, revealing there is only one downside from what he can tell.

"It's really liberating," he told People.

"I get out of the shower and just run the towel over my head and I'm done. But the only problem for me was during the summer time. I had to remember to put on sunscreen. I'm not used to that. A friend of mine who is bald told me you only make that mistake once. He was right about that." (C) Cover Media
