Dhanush starrer "Mayakkam Enna", directed by his elder brother Selvaraghavan, has successfully completed 50 days in the box office. The film marked the debut of Richa Gangopadhyay in Kollywood.

Says Selvaraghavan, 'I know the difficulty of a film running 50 days these days. The fate of each and every movie is being decided in first three days and collections are being made during the initial week only. I am happy that "Mayakkam Enna" is able to complete 50 days.'

Dhanush is equally thrilled. He says, 'Selvaraghavan is the one who is gifting me great roles right from the beginning of the career. In "Mayakkam Enna" too, he offered me a meaty character. I gave my best to it.'

Songs composed by G V Prakash Kumar for "Mayakkam Enna" were charbusters. Lyrics for almost all the songs were penned by Dhanush and Selvaraghavan. The director's wife Geethanjali assisted him in making the film.
