(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Michael Jackson's physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, had "no concept of time," a cardiologist testified yesterday.

On the fifth day of testimony into the death of the King of Pop, Dr. Thao Nguyan took to the witness stand yesterday to give evidence in the trial of the man accused of involuntary manslaughter.

Jackson died in June 2009 from acute Propofol intoxication but Murray has denied that he was the one to administer the lethal dose of the anaesthetic.

Nguyen told the Los Angeles Superior Court that Murray was not able to provide a time frame for crucial parts of the day leading up to the singer's death.

She said when they spoke at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center after Jackson had been brought in, Murray told her that he had given the father-of-three two doses of Ativan through an IV to help with his insomnia.

Murray told Nguyen that that he had left Jackson's bedroom for a brief moment and when he returned the star was not breathing.

But he apparently could not remember when he had given Jackson the doses or what time the Thriller star had stopped breathing.

He also did not know how long it took for him to call the emergency services.

"He said he did not have any concept of time and that he did not have a watch," Nguyen testified.

But the heart doctor said that Murray never told her he had given Jackson, Propofol.

"Absolutely not. He did not mention that agent to me," she attested.

Dr. Richelle Cooper also testified on Monday that she had told paramedics that they could declare Jackson dead at his Holmby Hills home but that he was brought to the nearby hospital because Murray did not want medics to give up on trying to resuscitate him.

Murray faces four years in jail if convicted and the trial is expected to last five to six weeks. (C) Cover Media
