Mike Tyson: My life is like Charlie Sheen's

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mike Tyson does not "envy" Charlie Sheen and thinks their lives are very similar.

The 45-year-old former boxer has been a highly controversial public figure for two decades since his rape conviction in 1992. While reflecting on Charlie's recent troubles, Mike found a lot of similarities between their personal situations.

"I don't envy anything about his life, my life is pretty much parallel to his," Mike told Pop Tarts. "I don't envy him."

Charlie was has spent time in rehab this year, as well as going through a divorce and being sacked from Two and a Half Men.

Mike got into a lot of trouble during his youth. Teaming up with Entourage creator Doug Ellin, Mike will dredge up troubling events from his past for an HBO series following a young boxer in New Jersey which is partly based on his life.

"The show is going to be all about me following me around as a kid, going to the gym, getting into trouble, getting people pregnant, unwed mothers, all that sh*t, having babies out of wedlock all the f**king time, getting up to stuff before fights, all that stuff," Mike described.

Although his show may get gritty at points, married Mike is forbidden from watching such brutality on his television at home. Wife Lakiha Spicer, whom Mike married in 2009, forces him to watch tamer programmes.

"My wife makes me watch all that Housewives and Kardashians BS. I have to watch the Kardashians, my wife will kill me if I don't," he explained. (C) Cover Media
