Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's 'Mirzya' locks 2016 summers for its release. Marking the debut of Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher, it is the first love story under the director's wings.

A spokesperson of film said, "The director has gone to great lengths to bring on board the best team to be a part of the making of the film. He has even tightened security on the sets to ensure that nothing gets out. So far he has been successful in keeping the entire shoot under wraps."

Previously titled as 'Mirza Sahibaan', it is a love story set in Rajasthan co-produced by ROMP Pictures and Cinestaan Film Company.

According to reports over 500 costumes were used for one of the sequences in the film.
