Veteran Tollywood actor Mohan Babu has visited his long-time friend and Superstar Rajinikanth, who is on rest after he underwent treatment for kidney ailment in Singapore, at his home in Chennai recently.

According to sources, the Tollywood actor enquired about the top south Indian actor's health. They spent a couple of hours together and caught up on the good old days.

'They had lunch together and got emotional,' says a source. After a customary hug, Mohan Babu left his old friend and returned to Hyderabad, sources add.

It may be recalled that only recently Mohanbabu's daughter Lakshmi Manchu, who is producing a film titled Varuvan Thalaivan, met Rajini at his Poes Garden residence, and sought his blessings for the success of the film. "Rajini uncle looks much better than before. He was happy to know about our project," she said, besides releasing the Superstar's latest photo to the media.
