January 6, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Bengali actress Moubani Sorcar, daughter of renowned magician P.C. Sorcar, has bagged a meaty role in filmmaker Tathagata Bhattacherjees next urban thriller titled Seven Days. It is a murder mystery with story and script by the director himself.

Moubani is busy with this murder mystery and is excited to get the opportunity to work with Tathagata, who is her close friend. The film also stars Shaheb, Dipankar Dey, Sreelekha Mitra and Subhashish Mukherjee.

Even though, the actress is very excited about her latest project, she wants take a break after this. Moubani is planning to take a short break and then she is planning to return with a bang. The continuous film offers are keeping her busy all the time, so she wants to be selective now and sign only qualitative projects. The pretty actress wants to leave a serious mark in her audiences minds.

Speaking about her latest project, Moubani says that this film has given her opportunity to work with her old friend Tathagata and Shaheb. She praises her co-star Shaheb saying that he is a great actor and she is hoping that she will learn something from him.

On choosing the film, Moubani says that it is not an ordinary film and gives her an opportunity to show her acting talent. She feels lucky to get films, which gives her important role to play. Moubani feels surprised to get thriller film offers these days. She says probably the directors find her suitable in this genre.
