January 6, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Kannada actor Yash is all set to wow audiences with his performance in a number of upcoming ventures this year, but Yash is going strictly commercial in 2011. In a statement to the media, the actor who has received accolades for his dance moves and great looks says that his market value is in distress because of the choice of films that he has made in the past couple of years. It is true that Yash has won the hearts of critics by his performance in Kallare Santhe but he has definitely not won the heart of the box office!
Yash has accepted the fact that a movie with substance is not enough to draw audiences to the movie hall and therefore has taken a resolution to be part of more and more commercial films in the future. However, it is not only his choice of films that makes Yash unpopular among Kannada producers. If reports are to be believed, Yash is very fussy about the people that he works with on a film and takes care to learn about them before signing on the dotted line. Yash however, strongly refutes this fact saying that he never chooses his co-stars and only gives suggestions when it comes to a technician only because he would like to work with the best in the industry, and also brushes aside claims of demanding a huge amount as remuneration from his producers.
Yash will not be bogged down by criticism and is prepared to make a grand comeback with upcoming films Rajdhani and Kirataka. And fortunately for Yash, both films belong to the genre of commercial Kannada cinema.
