Nakshatra is the star that brings change in one's life and for Aindrita Ray this is turning out to be true in disguise, as she has been replaced by actress Nakshatra, in an upcoming film!

Nakshatra, daughter of actress Sumithra and director D. Rajendra Babu, is the leading lady in place of Aindrita Ray, opposite Nakul, in a Tamil film that will be directed by John Devaraj.

Kannada actress Aindrita Ray was earlier selected to play the lead, but was unanimously replaced by Nakshatra in spite of attending the film shoot for a few days and participating in a photo shoot of the film.

Incidentally, Nakshatra is also playing an important role in another Tamil film, 'Doo', which is now being made by a set of new comers. She has also finished major portions of her work in the Malayalam film, 'Vaidooryam'. This Malayalam film is directed by Saseendra K. Shankar. The film stars Kailash in the main role, while Veteran artists Jagathy, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Vijaya Raghavan play other important roles.
