The shooting of director Shankar's 'Nanban', a remake of the famous Hindi movie '3 Idiots', is rapidly progressing. Already, the filmmaker has managed to complete a couple of schedules in Ooty and Dehradun respectively. The latest news is that the major portions involving Vijay and Ileana have been completed in Dehradun and now, the entire crew will move to the Andamans for some scenes to be shot there. Following this schedule, couple of songs are being planned to be shot in the backdrops of the exotic locales of Spain. Sources close to Shankar have revealed that although it's a remake project, the film will be shot with a bigger budget, as it's what happens with every Shankar project. Starring Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth in lead roles, Ileana D' Cruz takes on the female lead character, that was performed by Kareena Kapoor in the original version
