On International Women's day, Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor stood up against the injustice and abuse towards the women in the society. Through her tweets, the actress conveyed a message that a day is not enough to remember the hardship a woman has to go through.

She tweeted, "Every 20 mins or so, there is a rape happening in our country. And today we are 'celebrating' womens day. No single day can express the injustice that women have to go through everyday. To be objectified, abused and treated worse than garbage. Stand up against this abuse, not just today but every day."

She further wrote, "Love and respect to all you lovely ladies out there! ALWAYS keep your head up and NEVER stop being FEARLESS!!! #ProudToBeAnIndianWoman."

She feels women empowerment is the best change to make the world a better place.
