(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nick Cannon has penned a rap song in honour of his unborn twins.
The star and his singer wife Mariah Carey are due to become the parents of a boy and girl any day now. Nick has been open about how much he is looking forward to meeting the new arrivals and has now decided to use the medium of song to show his emotions.
He has recorded a track in which he gives his children advice about how to live their lives. Nick used Sades new song Pearls as inspiration, and discussed how keen he is for his kids to think of others when they grow up.
Gotta spit these Pearls to my unborns/Poems til they get into this world, he raps.
Show em hot to fit into this world/ Knowing unless youre gonna make a difference you aint sh*t in this world.
Nick also discussed religion in the track, calling it a business and warns the tots they may face racism. He reminds the babies that no matter what people say about them, he will always be there to help.
The 30-year-old even took the time to introduce the tots to their 42-year-old mother, before admitting hes going to celebrate their arrival with an alcoholic beverage.
Your mothers one of the greats and when I meet you in person I aint never drink, but this is a celebration, so Im toasting with potions that keep endorphins open, he raps.
Nick introduced his track on Twitter and seemed very pleased with it. He called himself his favourite rapper and said he hopes his twins appreciate what hes created for them.
