Nicole Kidman has settled into life in Nashville, Tennessee, and couldn't be happier.

The Oscar-winning actress moved to her adopted hometown with country rocker husband Keith Urban after they married in 2006.

They are now raising their two girls there; Sunday, three, and Faith, 11 months.

Us Magazine reports that the red head is perfectly content with a slower pace of life and being away from the glare of Hollywood where she lived with husband Tom Cruise before their divorce in 2001.

"They are so normal down here," a neighbourhood source said. "He's a really good guy. She introduces herself to people and it's like, We know you're Nicole Kidman.'"

Nicole and Keith have been married for five years, and although they have had their ups and downs, they appear to be happier than ever and the singer raves about life with his fellow Australian.

"Nic is just a phenomenal mother," Keith said recently. "An extremely pure spirit."

Keith is set to undergo surgery at the end of this month to have a polyp on his vocal cord removed and "will require complete voice rest" after the operation.
