(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nicole Kidman was prepared to be thrust into the limelight because she was so in love with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.

The actress met Tom on the set of Days of Thunder in 1989 and the pair were married for ten years, before they got divorced in 2001. Nicole struggled to be in a relationship with such a huge Hollywood star and found the attention surrounding their romance difficult. She was in her early 20s when she began dating Tom and couldnt believe how her life was transformed.

"I knew he was a really big star, but after a while, to get to a real place in a relationship, that has to wear off. As a couple we were very private. We were very tight and thats why we lasted ten years, she said in an interview with the British edition of Marie Claire. That was a great relationship. I think it ran its course.

I was never seeking to be a celebrity, but I was prepared to do that for love. Its hard to do that when you are young. But I am ready to give up anything for love because, ultimately, that is what you have. You get so much from a relationship when its filled with love.

Nicole was left heartbroken following her split from Tom and it took her years to recover. The 43-year-old went on to find love with country musician Keith Urban and the pair have two children together two-year-old Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, who was born via a surrogate mother in December.

Nicole who also has two adopted teenage kids with Tom never expected to find such happiness again. She now believes she has found her perfect man and is blissfully settled in Nashville.

I was really damaged and not sure whether that was ever going to happen again to me, she said of her split from Tom. I certainly never thought Id have a baby at 41. But we never know whats around the corner.

Well, I found my soulmate, and I dont throw that term around lightly. I found the person that I just love being with. He is very important to me. (C) Cover Media
