Nikhil Dwivedi learns shooting for 'Tamanchey'

To prepare for the role, based on the life of one of the country’s most notorious gangster, Nikhil Dwivedi is seeking training from one of the city’s finest shooters.

'Tamanchey', rumored to be based on the story of Abu Salim, though pegged as fictional, has several references to real life incidences. To get under the skin of his character, Nikhil is now training with a well known sniper who is teaching him the nuances of shooting from concealed and distant positions.

Says a source “To prepare for his role as a seasoned gangster in the film which is a realistic take on the lives of people in the underworld, Nikhil is training with an expert shooter. He is very kicked about the film and is doing a lot of research to prepare for the role, the most recent being training with one of the city’s finest shooters.”

Produced by Suryaveer Singh, 'Tamanchey' will see Nikhil Dwivedi recreate the magic of the angry young man on the big screen.
