While the Bhatt camp is excited about the sequel to their 1990 hit 'Aashiqui', it will fail to keep its date with Valentine's Day.

'Aashiqui 2' that was slated to release on February 14, 2013 has been postponed, as Vishesh Films' 'Murder 3' will now hit theatres a day later, i.e. February 15.

Reportedly, 'Murder 3' was earlier scheduled to release by the end of this year, but as the casting of the leading lady took time, the film got delayed. 

'Aashiqui 2' is being directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Vishesh films and T-Series, while 'Murder 3' is Vishesh Bhatt's directorial debut. 

The release date has not been decided yet, but it is heard that the makers plan to release the film somehwere around April. Bhushan Kumar and Mahesh Bhatt are expected to take a call soon.
