Imran Khan entered the industry with a bang. Unfortunately his success fizzed out with time and he was slammed with a series of flop films. However the year 2011 brought in a lot of lady luck for him. After his film "I Hate Luv Storys", was declared a hit he gave two back to back hits in 2011. "Delhi Belly" and "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" escalated him to the top slot in the industry.
His success is often compared with his arch rivals like Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. Nevertheless Imran claims that he doesn’t wants to be a part of any competition but just wants to concentrate his own work. “I have never been competitive in my life. For me, it's always about self-improvement,” says our boy here.
Talking about comparison with other young actors Imran says that he is not a buyer of that theory, “I don't want to hold someone else as a yardstick to compare my growth. Everyone has a unique style of acting and I can't be comparing myself to them,” said Imran.
